Upcoming Programs in 2016

Excitement is building and opportunities are multiplying. Center for Sustainable Change is rapidly becoming a community of support -- the HUB -- that is essential for adequately and effectively spreading an understanding of the Three Principles in communities all over the world.

After nearly two years of intensive planning, CSC has great news! Siena Heights University has approved CSC's request for IRB (Institutional Review Board) oversight for THRIVING vs. Surviving: A Veterans Transformation Pilot Program. Click here for more information.

We will be requesting donations for this program in January 2016 and hope, with successful fundraising, to conduct the program in the spring.

Look for special opportunities next month to support this important research project which will enhance credibility for introducing the Principles in educational and social services settings everywhere.

Continuing Education Series:  Reviving the Joy of Teaching

After an extensive period of planning and preparation, CSC'S series of four online continuing education courses have entered the final stages of development. The series, entitled "Reviving the Joy of Teaching," will be formally announced for registration early next year. This suite of courses is being prepared by CSC and being structured to meet the stringent educational presentation guidelines of West Virginia University.

Judy Sedgeman and Anni Poole have worked intensively for months preparing these courses. International Learning Units (ILUs) qualified for continuing education credits, indicate mastery of the material after a final quiz. ILUs will be granted to successful participants by West Virginia University. CSC plans to follow this series of courses with professional development courses in other fields of work impacting children, youth, and young adults.
