It's my pleasure to announce the addition of the newest member to CSC's Board of Directors, Randa Street. We're excited and feel so fortunate to welcome Randa's unique perspective and experience to CSC's Board. You see, Randa knows what it's like to be "down and out" with little hope... and she also knows exactly how the Three Principles can transform your whole life! Read on for more about her story...
Randa was a resident of the Lakewood community in Charlotte, N.C. when she was first introduced to the Three Principles in 2011, three months after having been homeless for a year. She – a single parent – participated in a four-week parenting class in her neighborhood, presented by the National Community Resiliency Project of CSC. The understanding she received had an immediate and profound effect on the relationship she had going forward with her twin daughters.
Randa has attended and actively participated in several other Three Principles presentations both in Lakewood and at her daughters' nearby school. Over the years, Randa has attended three CSC retreats -- one in North Carolina and two in California.
Following her wisdom over the past five years, she has found financial independence and initiated her post-high school education. With the goal of completing both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees, she is on track to soon receive her Associate of Arts degree from Central Piedmont Community College.
Randa has worked for the past 11 years in medical billing, the last six years servicing mental health service providers. She is currently contemplating how she might arrange for the accounts she handles to be introduced to the Three Principles.
Please join me in welcoming Randa to the growing CSC community of people touched by understanding the Three Principles and seeking to share that understanding where they live.
