Exploring ways to share the Three Principles' transformative impacts... in the community where YOU live.
Do you want to create "inside-out" community change? You can lean on our experience.
CSC is recognized throughout the Three Principles world for our work in communities. And from the beginning, we've built on the broad body of work and remarkable results our founder Roger Mills helped to create in distressed communities and schools across the United States.
With our strong foundation of work in creating and engaging common understanding within communities around the country, we have created an online videoconferencing series to help you take the next step in starting a Three Principles-based community project.
Awakening Community Circles:
Virtual gatherings to inspire, encourage, and support individuals to bring an understanding of the Three Principles into their local communities.
Hosted by Judith Sedgeman, EdD, virtual Awakening Community Circles are designed to network people with similar community interests for sharing and mutual support. The objective is to inspire, encourage and support individuals to take action to bring an understanding of the Three Principles into specific programmatic settings in their local communities.
This online videoconferencing series (via the ZOOM platform) will be offered once a week during (usually) the second, third, and fourth weeks of each month; each session will feature one or two presenters who are introducing the Principles in similar community settings. Different community settings will be presented each week.
Online "Open Mic" discussions are held on (usually) the first Thursday of each month at a set time and are open to the public to participate for FREE. Each online video conferencing "Open Mic" discussion sets the topic for that month's three subsequent Awakening Community Circle sessions.
Monthly Focus Areas for 2018
We will cover a new focus area each month via a FREE "Open Mic" videoconference on (usually) the first Thursday of the month, followed by three paid, separate, weekly videoconference conversations on the remaining Thursdays. Our monthly focus areas for this year are:

March 8 - noon to 1:30 pm US Eastern Time:
What does it mean to Listen "beyond the words" to "SEE" and "HEAR" more deeply? Why is this a critical central understanding of the significance of the 3 Principles? How does it differ from what people normally think about listening?
Week 2: LISTENING FOR A FEELING
March 15 - noon to 1:30 pm US Eastern Time:
As we see more deeply for ourselves the Principles behind all of existence, we experience our own mental activity as a feeling state first, and the feeling awakens our understanding.
Week 3: FRIENDS AND STRANGERS: LISTENING AS HEALING
March 22 - noon to 1:30 pm US Eastern Time:
Consider the fact that when there is true listening, there are no strangers.
Week 4: FEELING CLOSER TO OTHERS: LISTENING AS LEARNING
March 29 - noon to 1:30 pm US Eastern Time:
We will share and discuss the experiences of listening from last week, and reflect on the significance of deep listening as an expression of understanding of the 3P.
Recordings are made available after each session. We generally try to get them posted by the following Monday.
