CSC’s Co-founder and former Director, Ami Chen Mills-Naim, has branched out with a new private coaching practice, website, and Facebook page—all of which reflect her growing interest in supporting people in their psychological and spiritual unfolding, whether involved in schools and communities, or not.
Through Ami Chen Coaching & Education, Ami continues to work with couples, parents, and families as a wellness and resiliency coach. She continues also to work with organizations and schools as a consultant and trainer.
New ventures include personal wellness retreat and spiritual writers retreat programs at “Mahalo Cottage” in Santa Cruz, CA and Kauai, HI … as well as open, public retreats—with a coming, inaugural retreat on the “Garden Island” of Kauai, August 2-5. She also offers low-cost practitioner mentoring for those in training to become, or who currently serve as 3 Principles practitioners.
“I love helping people find relief from stress and suffering, and also helping people with what I call their ‘spiritual maturity,’ moving more fully into freedom and the formless,” says Mills-Naim.
“It’s easy for people to get caught up in the ‘culture’ or language of a spiritual tradition and miss something that is deeper, that is actually the deepest, truest part of them,” says Mills-Naim. “It is what all the best traditions and teachers, including Sydney Banks, are pointing to—your deepest Self, your own wisdom, the living, moving Truth. Something quite beyond the form of any self-help, religious or spiritual movement. Something beyond any form at all. Total freedom.”
Ami continues as an avid supporter, Senior Trainer and volunteer for CSC. “The spirit, integrity and quality of the people who are part of, work with, and lead the Center for Sustainable Change is so very, remarkably high. I am honored to be a part of this organization with its sacred, blessed mission of helping children and young people in distress.”
